The Nipissing Naturalists Club is a friendly group interested in exploring and learning about our natural world. In addition to monthly meetings with engaging guest speakers, the NipNats host member outings and events in and around North Bay and the Nipissing District throughout the year. We also have an active group of birders - known as Bird Wing - who host regular meetings and outings.
If you're thinking of joining the club, come on out to our next monthly meeting! You're welcome to attend, learn more about who we are and what we're up to - and join on the spot, if you'd like! All general meetings are at coworking176 space at 176 Lakeshore Dr. (former Tweedsmuir Public School), unless otherwise specified.
We share upcoming events with our members through email, here on our website, in our monthly newsletter, The Woodland Observer, and on our Facebook page. All events are for members only, unless indicated as public events.
We distribute our monthly newsletter to our members by email and post updates to our Facebook page regularly, so be sure to turn your
notifications on! Download the latest issue of The
Woodland Observer in our newsletter archive.
Are you all about the birds? You may want to consider joining Bird Wing as well! Open only to Nipissing Naturalist Club members, Bird Wing hosts birding
events and regular meetings. There is an additional $5 annual fee to join Bird
Wing and take part in Bird Wing events.
